Afternoon Tea Dance

Michael Pharaoh and Julie Williams

Pictured above are the owners of the Dance Kingdom, Llanelli--Michael Pharaoh and Julie Williams who kindly allowed the CINI event to take place on Sunday afternoon 11th July 2010.  The second photo shows one of the dancing couples who gave their time to support the charity event, the tea dance was attended by members and friends of the Dance Kingdom and at the end of the afternoon a sum of £300 was raised. Dancing members had a thoroughly enjoyable time and are really looking forward to the next CINI charity event at the Dance Kingdom which will take place in April 2011.

Newly formed branch CINI Wales held a Curry Night, with all proceeds going to CINI, on 9th November 2009 at the "Verandah Restaurant", Llanelli. The CINI Chairman Lady Slynn of Hadley was guest of honour together with Mr Dai Jones and civic dignitaries, friends and Llanelli Little Theatre members were invited as well. CINI Wales Chairman Julian Murphy has said that over 80 people have accepted invitations to the curry evening and although this is only the second event that the group have arranged, it promises to be a financially successful night. "We are hoping that we will be able to make about £500 for CINI for the night and the response from the general public has been very positive indeed. We are truly delighted and honoured that Lady Slynn was able to attend this event and our three person group will be looking forward to meeting her earlier in the day".
