CINI's innovative mother and child sponsorship programme means you are helping children from before they are born - by teaming up with a mother - to help ensure she can give her child the best possible start in life.
Maternal malnutrition leads to underweight births. Severely underweight babies are born malnourished, and therefore vulnerable to childhood diseases, permanent disabilities and persistent ill health.

Through CINI's Sponsor A Mother programme, you can help women access the nutrition and healthcare they need during pregnancy. They will also learn key skills such as how to make nutritious meals on a very tight budget, hygiene measures that can prevent their children from getting infections, and how to prepare effective re-hydration treatments for children with diarrhoea. They will also be encouraged to interact and play with their infants, to help them develop strong learning skills. This knowledge can help them break free of the cycle of poverty, malnutrition and ill health.
For £10 a month, you can sponsor a mother and touch not only her life, but also that of her family and neighbours.
This programme provides long-term funding for CINI’s work in its specialist areas of health, nutrition, education and protection, from which the mother you are linked to will benefit. |
Ten pounds is the minimum donation to sponsor a mother. If you want to give a smaller amount, it is possible to support CINI's work as a whole by calling the same number or email given above. If you want to give more, this is of course extremely welcome.
Alternatively complete the standing order form and send it to us at CINI, 11 Mowll Street, London, SW9 6BG
Ten pounds a month is the minimum donation to sponsor a mother. Smaller donations will be put towards CINI’s broader work to help poor mothers and children in India. If you want to give more than £10 a month, this would of course be extremely welcome!
